Configure Outlook via IMAP_(Manual Method)

 

Dear Student, if you want to configure Gmail account on Outlook that time you must create App password before start these configuration otherwise you must create app password during the configuration of Gmail in outlook. For create the app password you must create 2 step verification first.

Step-1) First of all you must create a "App Password". Login with your Gmail account & Select "Account" option that will appear in google Apps_(9 dot's) option.

Step-2) Select 2 step verification option under the Security of navigation pane. Select Get started option & Select the country code with mobile number thereafter select the verification code via SMS or call & select next option. Give the verification code & select next. Again select the "Turn On" option. Now two step verification code is on.

Step-2) Select 2 step verification again & select "App Password." Give the name of App & select create option. Now copy the password of Apps.
