- DHCP works on Application Layer of TCP/IP model.
- DHCP assign the automatic ip address to dhcp client.
- The port number of dhcp server is 67(DHCP Server) & 68(DHCP Client)
- DHCP scope is the start & end range of ip address that is assigned to dhcp client by dhcp server.
