An operating system is the software that directly manages a system's hardware and resources, like CPU, Memory & Storage.  It comes with a user-friendly interface and users can customize the source code as per their requirements. Linux developed by Linus Torvalds in 1991.Available for Mobile devices,Desktops,Servers,Mainframes and Supercomputers.35% of Internet servers and 99% of Supercomputers are powered by Linux OS. It's source code is freely available.

Ans:- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)is a commercial open-source Linux distribution developed by Red Hat for the commercial market. RHEL uses a subscription - based distribution model. As this is open source software so no license fee is required. It pays for support, maintenance, updates, security patches etc.
