Install the Features of Windows Server Backup:-

Step-1) To install the iSCSI Target on Windows Server 2022 using GUI, launch the server manager and click Add roles and features

Step-2) In the Add Roles and Features Wizard box, click Next.

Step-3) On the Select installation type page, verify that you choose Role-Based or feature-based installation then click Next.

Step-4) Now Select "Next". 

Step-5) Now Select "Next". 

Step-6) Select "Windows Server Backup" Option & Click on "Next" Button.

Step-7) Click on "Next" Option.

Step-8) Click on "Next" Option.

Step-9) After successfully install the features of Windows Server Backup you must open it from tool.

Manual Backup on Local Storage:-

Step-10) In my scenario i'm going to take the backup of Winrar & Youtube downloader software that is available in Abhishek folder's on Desktop.

Right click on Local Backup --> Backup Once.

Step-11) Select "Different Option" & click on Next.

Step-12) Select the type of configuration you want to schedule: Full server (recommended) or Custom. The full server backup will back up all your server data, applications, and system state. Use the custom backup to select what you want to back up. Select "Custom" & click on Next.

Step-13) Select The data from location that is used for "Backup" & click on "Next". My location is "C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Abhishek".

Step-14) Select "Local Drive"& click on "Next" option.

Step-15) Select E:\ Drive & click on "Next" option.

Step-16) Select on "Backup" option.

Step-17) After complete the backup you will see this Succussed message Infront of you.

Step-18) You can see successful message in MSG tray.

Restore the Backup File:-

Step-19) Before recover & Show the output of Backup recovery you must delete the data that is used for backup. In my case I already deleted the folder of Abhishek from desktop.

Click on local backup --> Recover option.

Step-20) Select This Server & click on Next option.

Step-21) Select Backup location & click on "Next" Option

Step-22) Select "Files & Folder" & click on "Next" option.

Step-23) Select the Recovery files & click on Next option.

Step-24) Select the Original Location & click on Next.

Step-25) Select the Recover option.

Step-26) File has been successfully restored.

Manual Backup on Network Storage:-

1. Open Server Manager on Windows Server 2022.
2. Click Tools in the top right corner of the window, and then select Windows Server Backup.
3. Right-click Local Backup and then select Backup Once.
4. Under Backup Options, select Different options, and click Next. Choose this option if you have not created a scheduled backup or want to specify a location or items for this backup that are different from the scheduled backup.

5. Select the type of configuration you want to schedule: Full server (recommended) or Custom. The full server backup will back up all your server data, applications, and system state. Use the custom backup to select what you want to back up.

6. Under Specify Destination Type, choose the type of storage to back up, and click Next. There are two options available: Local drives or Remote shared folders. For demonstration purposes, I use a remote shared folder.
