RODC configuration on Windows Server 2019

 

RODC configuration on Windows Server 2019:-
-------------------------------------------

Step-1) First of all assign the ip address to Main Server, RODC Server machine.

Configuration on Main Server:-

------------------------------

IP = 192.168.10.2

SM = 255.255.255.0

DG = 192.168.10.1

Preferred DNS Server = 192.168.10.2

Alternate DNS Server = No Need

Configuration on ADC Server:-

-----------------------------

IP = 192.168.10.3

SM = 255.255.255.0

DG = 192.168.10.2

Preferred DNS Server = 192.168.10.2

Alternate DNS Server = No Need

Server Name = rodc

Step-2) Ping to all computer machine to each other.

Step-3) Change the server name of DC & create a Domain. In my case the Server name is dc & domain name is opensource.com

Step-4) Change the server name of RODC. In my case the Server name is rodc. Go to the Server Manager & you will see the "ADDS Roles" has been installed.
