Software Deployment Policy (VLC)

Now Follow These Steps:-

1 – In your Domain Server, open Server Manager, click Tools and open Group Policy Management.

2 – In the Group Policy Management console, right click Group Policy Object, and click New.

3 – In the New GPO box, in the Name box, type Software Deployment(VLC), and then click OK.

4 – Next, on the Group Policy Management console, right click Deploy Software GPO and click Edit.

5 – In the Group Policy Management Editor, under User Configuration, expand Policies, and then expand Software Installation select Properties.

6 – In the Properties select Assign & Basic option thereafter give the location of shared folder then click ok.

7 – Now right click on Software Installation --> New --> Package.

8 – Now Select VLC Software & click OK. 

9 – Right click on VLC Software then click on Properties.

10 – Now link Software Deploy(VLC) GPO to OU. 

11 – Now update the policy.
